Tips for Storing your skates after a game or practice!

1)  Undo your laces, preferably either the first or second eyelet  This will allow you to get your foot out from the boot comfortably, without pushing down on the tendon guard.

2) Do not push down on the tendon guard.  You do not want to bed or weaken the tendon guard.

3)  Dry off your blade and holder as much as you can.  You don’t want to have rusty blades.  If you can remove your blades.   Dry them off completely and store in a blade case.

4)  Remove your insoles.  Removing your insoles will all everything to dry completely.  Leaving your insoles in will lead to rivets rusting.  That will lead to your holder breaking free from the boot.

5)  Hang your skates upside down.  The skate is designed if you them hang upside down any remaining water will run down and not get trapped anywhere.
